14 weeks!

How far along? 14 weeks, 2 days

How big are babies? PB & J are about 3 inches long


Total weight gain/loss: Not quite sure. I lost 5-6 lbs initially with the lovely morning all-day sickness, but I've gained that back now (Thank goodness for Zofran and Phenergran!). I think I might be up a total of about 2lbs.

Maternity clothes? I had to make my first maternity clothing purchase this weekend. The band with my regular jeans just wasn't cutting it anymore. I can still wear a lot of my regular shirts and dresses though.

Best moment this week: Making it to the second trimester!

Movement: Haven't felt anything yet.

Waist Diameter: Haven't done this yet, but I will. I feel like it could start to get pretty funny towards the end.

Food cravings: So far, peaches have been my only real craving. Although, I have been eating pizza a lot too. Which explains why I have easily gained back all the weight that I lost. :)

Gender: Not sure yet. When I first found out that I was pregnant, I just had this feeling it was a girl. Then we found out it was twins and I thought either boy/girl or two girls. But now, I'm not sure anymore! :) We have an appointment at the end of the month...so hopefully we will find out then!

Labor Signs: None! And let's hope it stays that way until December!

Belly Button in or out? In. But I have a feeling that might change. :)

What I miss: Not really anything. Maybe sleeping through the night without having to get up to go to the bathroom or eat. But I know I should just go ahead and kiss that goodbye since it's going to be a long time before that happens again.

What I am looking forward to: Our appointment this month!

Milestones: Second trimester!!

Realization of the week: We are having twins! This happens about once per week where I'm like oh my gosh, we are having two babies! It's crazy, but super exciting!

We're having TWINS!!

PB & J (we liked that better than Baby A & Baby B) are due January 9th, 2012.

But, since there are two in there, they will make their debut sometime in December!

First things first...Happy Friday!!! I thought it might never come this week!

So...I guess my last post about how I was back from hiatus was a bit of a fib. But I promise it wasn't intentional. I just haven't had much to blog about these past few weeks. Actually, it's a combination of that and the fact that I've been kind of lazy. :)

Anyways...as an apology for being MIA for so long, I'm sharing my latest discovery...TasteSpotting. (Thanks to a new blog friend, A Wedding Story!)

It's a site based on people uploading pictures of yummy foods and recipes. Each picture you click on takes you directly to the blog it came from.

I don't know about y'all, but I am always looking for new recipes to try. I feel like I get stuck in a rut and make the same things over and over. But I always want to see a picture of the recipe before I try it...it just makes me feel better for some reason. And you don't always get that on all recipe sites. Enter TasteSpotting...a perfect solution to both of those problems!

Love Note

When I got home from my work trip to Louisville and Boston, Jason had already left for the weekend for a Bachelor party. But, when I went into our room, I realized he had left me a little love note:

In case you can't read it, this is what it says:

but I want you to have this for a little shopping.

When the pit stains are brown...it's time.

Back from Hiatus

So sorry for the long absence! I was out of town for work last week, which left little time for blogging. But, now that I'm caught up from being out...I'm back. I know you've all been anxiously waiting, right? :)

I've talked before about my love for flash mobs. Well, this past weekend, some college students from this area coordinated one in the park downtown. Much to my dismay, I was not aware of this. So, sadly, my dream of participating in one has still not come true. I mean, how much fun were these kids having?? I am so jealous!

Thoughts on Thursday

-I was planning on sharing my Shrimp & Grits recipe today, but I completely forgot to take a picture of it last night. And what's a recipe post without a picture? I'll try to remember to take one when I heat up the left overs. :)

-Today is my Friday! WOOOHOOOO!!

-I have lunch with my besties today (except Mare...we'll miss you!) and I can't wait!

-I really need to get my butt in gear when it comes to working out. Bathing suit season is RAPIDLY approaching.

-On that note, I ate a brownie for breakfast. Apparently my definition of trying to lose weight is eat whatever I want, work out very little and just hope that the pounds magically disappear. Good plan.

-Also, the amount of candy we have in our office right now is not helping. I have no self control.

-I'm really excited about Easter service this weekend at Newspring. It's going to be AWESOME!

-I can't believe that April is almost over. This year is flying by...crazy!

-Ants are eating my strawberries in the garden and I am not happy about it. Any suggestions for what I can do about that?

-We're going to have 4 dogs at our house this weekend. This should be interesting.

-I was a little disappointed in Idol last night. And I think it's time for Steffano to go home. What do y'all think?
